Children are always excited (and some adults too) to find a colored egg. Our Ameraucana started pullets provide that excitement.
The Ameraucana come in many colors—whites, browns, reds, blacks and many combinations of those colors. Ameraucanas are known for puffy cheek feathers and the ability to lay green and blue eggs! Ameraucanas are one of the best producers of medium eggs. They also continue to lay very well through hot and cold months. The Ameraucana is a medium-size bird. We raise these pullets in a free range environment, so they forage for bugs and green grass. These girls would make great addition to anyone’s back yard flock. Our pullet’s beaks are not trimmed, so they can still forage easily. These pullets are supplemented with all natural feed, and will be 15-20 weeks old at the time of arrival.
